Mathematics in Industry Study Group at Makerere University.

The CoRE-MATH outreach activity, the Mathematics in Industry Study Group, with support from ICMS, was held at Makerere University, Uganda, from 21st to 25th September 2026. The study group in industry brought together mathematicians, industry practitioners, and regional and international experts to develop mathematical models for addressing challenges across sectors. These challenges are some of the problems that were proposed during the Mathematics in Industry Contact Workshop, which was held at the same university from 8th to 10th June 2026.
