2026 School on Arithmetic, Geometry and Algorithms

The 2026 School on Arithmetic, Geometry, and Algorithms is taking place at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, from 16th to 28th August 2026. The school is coordinated by AAU-AMU-CIMPA-CoRE-Math-ICTP-ISP.

The main topics of this school are arithmetic and algebraic geometry, with a view toward applications, computational aspects, and modern algorithms. Specific topics to be covered are Algebraic varieties, Commutative algebra, Elliptic Curves, Algebraic Number Theory, Finite Fields, Applications of Arithmetic and Algebraic Geometry in cryptography and Computer Algebra Systems.
