CIMPA mentoring programmes: Applications open

CIMPA has opened applications for its international mentoring programme, which connects students and early-career mathematicians with experienced researchers. The programme offers guidance on research, scientific writing, career development and international collaboration.

CIMPA mentoring programme. Master’s students, PhD students and researchers within five years of completing their PhD may apply if based in countries eligible for IMU–CDC support. Applications close on 31 December 2026.

PIMS–CIMPA Africa mentoring programme. A separate programme offers similar opportunities to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and junior faculty at African universities and research institutions. Eligible applicants in Africa may apply to both programmes.

CIMPA is a long-standing partner of ISP and CoRE-Math. We encourage eligible researchers across the CoRE-Math network to explore these opportunities.
