African collaboration highlighted at ECMI 2026

The 23rd European Conference on Mathematics for Industry (ECMI 2026), held in Kaunas, Lithuania, from 29 June to 3 July, included a special session on Activities in Industrial and Applied Mathematics in East Africa.

The session highlighted collaboration in industrial and applied mathematics in the region, an area in which CoRE-Math is actively engaged through its Mathematics in Industry Study Groups and partnerships with European institutions.
