FAME

LUT participates in the FAME Flagship project on applied mathematics supported by the Research Council of Finland for 2024–2031. The project is applied by nature and aims for impact, including capacity building in Africa through collaborative PhD and postdoc training. These action items shall be carried out during the coming years over the region, and the target is to expand the collaboration network in Africa and Finland.
