Bizuneh Minda Demissie successfully defends his PhD at Addis Ababa University

Bizuneh Minda Demissie, a staff member of the Department of Mathematics, Addis Ababa University, defended his PhD dissertation titled “New Contributions to Hardy-type Inequalities and Boundary-Domain Integral Equations” on June 6, 2025. Bizuneh was a Sandwich PhD student at Karlstad University with support from the International Science Programme (ISP), and his dissertation work was supervised by Tsegaye G. Ayele, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia; Sergey E. Mikhailov, Brunel University, UK; Sorina Barza, Karlstad University, Sweden; Javier Soria, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain; and Lars-Erik Persson, Karlstad University, Sweden.
